Mounting System for Industrial Roofs – PD.RC-PL

The PD.RC-PL is a mounting system specifically designed for industrial building roofs with insulated panels or metal trapezoidal roof sheets. Its design philosophy is based on simple, safe, and fast installation, without complex constructions, without adding unnecessary load to the roof, and while fully preserving the roof’s waterproofing.

The system consists of three main components:

1. Main Supporting Rail

The main rail is installed on two consecutive trapezoidal crests of the roof panel and is fixed using four self-drilling screws.

This ensures secure anchoring and proper load distribution onto the roof structure.

2. Sliding Inner Element

The sliding element is inserted inside the main rail and can move along its length.

This provides high flexibility in the positioning of the supports and allows easy adaptation to different module dimensions and array layouts.

3. Module Mounting Clamp

The clamp is equipped with a plastic isolator and a channel nut and is mounted onto the sliding element.

The system supports both:

Portrait module orientation
Landscape module orientation

System Layout Logic

The same basic system is used both at the ends and at the intermediate positions of each module row. The only difference is the type of clamp used:

End clamps for the edges
Middle clamps for the intermediate (middle) positions

For each row of n modules, the required quantities are:

4 end clamps
(n − 1) × 2 middle clamps

This makes the material calculation simple, clear, and fully predictable.

Example – Row of 5 modules:

A row of 5 modules requires:

4 end clamps (outer positions)
(5 − 1) × 2 = 8 middle clamps (intermediate positions)

Applications & Availability

The PD.RC-PL system has already been installed on numerous industrial roofs, in projects reaching and exceeding 1 MWp.

Delivery times are short, and stock availability is maintained to cover additional requirements in case of project changes or extensions.

The systems are the same for End positions end Middle positions between the panel’s row
The type of the clamp on the systems is different (End clamps & Middle clamps)

For each row of n panels, there are (n-1)×2 Middle clamp Systems and 4 End clamp Systems
